Quiet Revolutions: A Radical Bookfair,
Barbican Library, Public Spaces & Auditoriums, Nov 2022

Radical bookshops, once found in every major town and city, are spaces of possibility and resistance, offering quiet browsing, public discussions and encounters between writers, readers and activists.

Quiet Revolutions saw the Barbican Library host a bookfair with stalls from Britain’s best-known radical bookshops and publishers along with a major public conversation featuring Sheila Rowbotham, Farrukh Dhondy, Ken Worpole of Centerprise and Jane Cholmeley of Silver Moon.

Produced with Rose Schling of On The Record and The Alliance of Radical Booksellers
